We're Easy to Find from Anywhere!
Traveling from the Southern California area, you have a couple options. Those in San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino and areas around the Cajon Pass should take local freeways to Highway 15 heading toward Victorville. Not far from the crest of the Cajon Pass is a turnoff for Highway 395. Simply stay on Highway 395, past Bishop, Mammoth, June Lake and Lee Vining. We are about 2 miles past Lee Vining. Look for us on the left.
Those coming from the Orange County, Beach Cities, Los Angeles, the San Fernando Valley, Ventura, Simi Valley and thereabouts, find your way to Interstate 5 heading toward Bakersfield. As you exit the San Fernando Valley, be sure to take Highway 14 off Interstate 5. This will travel through Mojave to the junction with Highway 395 near Ridgecrest. Again, simply stay on Highway 395, past Bishop, Mammoth, June Lake and Lee Vining. We are about 2 miles past Lee Vining. Look for us on the left.
If you are traveling in Nevada on Highway 95 or Highway 6, when you get to Tonapaugh, take Highway 6 west toward California. Where it intersects with Highway 120, turn right on Highway 120. Simply stay on Highway 120 until it intersects with Highway 395. Turn right, continue through Lee Vining. We are about 2 miles past Lee Vining. Look for us on the left.
If you are traveling from the Las Vegas area, take Interstate 15 to Barstow. There you will turnoff at Highway 58 that takes you toward Mojave. At the intersection of Highway 395, turn right and continue north toward Bishop. Simply stay on Highway 395, past Bishop, Mammoth, June Lake and Lee Vining. We are about 2 miles past Lee Vining. Look for us on the left.
Folks living in the San Joaquin Valley, south of Tulare, and anyone in the Paso Robles vicinity can head toward Bakersfield. There you will have a choice of two routes. You can take Highway 58 over Techappi to Mojave and Highway 14. The second choice, Highway 178, takes you along the Kern River, through the Lake Isabella area and exits at Highway 14. Again, you just head toward Bishop on Highway 14, which intersects with 395. Simply stay on Highway 395, past Bishop, Mammoth, June Lake and Lee Vining. We are about 2 miles past Lee Vining. Look for us on the left.
Anyone from the Central Coast, the Bay Area and the Fresno to Modesto area will want to take Highway 120 through Yosemite and over Tioga Pass to Highway 395. At the 120 and 395 intersection, you turn left to Lee Vining. We are about 2 miles past Lee Vining. Look for us on the left.
From the Sacramento and Northern California area, plus Northern Nevada, you can access Highway 395 in several locations.. You can cross the Sierra Nevada in a variety of places. Highway 50 comes across Lake Tahoe to Highway 395. Highway 89 leaves Highway 50 and comes south to Highway 88 leading to Gardnerville/Minden. Highway 88 goes all the way across the Sierra. It a very scenic route passing the Kirkwood ski area. Highway 108 is the road from Sonora to Highway 395, a little north of Bridgeport. When you access Highway 395, you then turn south toward Bishop. When you come down the Conway Summit and see Mono Lake, just continue on about six miles, Tioga Lodge is on the right. |
