Tioga Lodge: A Great Place to Relax
Sunrise at Mono Lake

About Tioga Lodge

Tioga Lodge at Mono Lake, historically known as Hammond Station, was originally built as a Toll Station over 100 years ago. The two historic buildings housing the restaurant and the business center were moved on site from the nearby gold mining town of Bodie, now a State Historic Park and ghost town.

Tioga Lodge was restored and updated about ten years ago after sitting dormant for many years. Our rooms are uniquely decorated to portray a bit of local history and to give the ambiance of times past so you can experience what early Settlers once knew it to be. Consequently, if you are looking for the luxury of modern day in-room AMENITIES (TV, telephone and air conditioning), you may be disappointed. However, if you enjoy rustic old world charm, you will enjoy our property.
