Born in Scotland, John Muir leaves many Americans forever grateful of his accomplishments. This naturalist, along with President Roosevelt, is directly responsible for the preservation of miles in the Sierra Nevada wilderness including Yosemite Valley.  If not for John Muir and other environmentalists, such as Ansel Adams, much of the beauty and majesty of our local mountains would be over grazed or commercialized.  Come see for yourself, and like John Muir, you to might find you’ve left with far more than you expected. The room does not have a telephone or TV, so it will not interfere with your enjoyment of the rustic lodge experience. Wireless internet access is not available inside the room, but wireless internet access is available in the grassy area outside of the room, as well as the registration lobby, business center, and restaurant.
